Creating Global QBE Worklists

You can create custom Global Worklists to provide a Global Worklist that focuses on a specific type of information.

The QBE Global Worklist you create:

Will be nested under the parent Worklist in the Global Worklists area of the Worklist pane. For example, if you are working in the All Studies Global Worklist when you create a new QBE Worklist, the newly created QBE Global Worklist displays under All Studies Global
Displays a Globe in the My Favorites Worklist to easily distinguish the Global QBE Worklist from a local QBE Worklist of the same name
Includes the same columns as the parent Worklist
Is only visible to you
Supports automatic workflow (F8 and F9)

Steps

Click to select any Global Worklist (Unread Studies Global, All Patients Global, All Recent Studies Global, or All Studies Global). The Global Worklist will be the parent Worklist of the QBE Worklist you are creating. Your newly created Worklist will include exactly the same columns (as the parent).
Enter criteria into one or more QBE fields to create your custom list. See Using the Study Date Time Field.

Note:

To clear the QBE filters of the criteria you entered, right-click in any QBE field header and select Clear All Filters.

Click Save a QBE Worklist . A dialog box displays the name of your parent Worklist and a Name text field.
Enter a name for your new or copied QBE Worklist and click Save.

To prevent you from accidentally overwriting an existing QBE Worklist, Synapse prompts you to confirm your actions if you are about to save a new QBE Worklist with the same name as an existing Worklist.
You can restore the original filters for a saved QBE worklist by selecting Restore Filters from the Column Header context menu.

The new or copied QBE Worklist now displays directly under its parent Worklist in the Worklists pane.
Global Worklist QBE folders display next to the folder name in the Worklist panel.
