Using the Study Date Time Field

The Study Date Time field is one of many Date Time fields you define when creating a QBE Worklist, or when you are searching for specific information. The calendar selector within the Date Time field enables you to quickly select date ranges.

Note:

The format supported for use in the Date Time fields throughout Synapse is based on your localization selection. See General User Settings.

Use any of the following options to define the Date Time range that best suits your needs:

  • Today
  • By set number of days
  • By date range
  • Single date

Steps

  • With the Worklist of your choice open, place your cursor into a Date Time field and click to open the calendar control. Do one of the following:

If you want to do this...

Choose this option...

Display studies with today's date only.
  • Select the Today option. (This option will always display studies from the current date.)
  • Click OK to add your selection as QBE criteria.

Display studies modified or created within the number of days you specify (up to a maximum of 999 days).
  • Select the Last option and enter the number of days you want to include in the search. (This option will always display studies from the current date plus the number of days you selected.)
  • Click OK to add your selection as QBE criteria.

Display studies modified or created within a specific date range.
  • Select the Range option. The calendar controls display.
  • Click the calendar icon in the From field and select the start date for the date range you want to search.
  • Click the calendar icon in the To field and select the end date for the date range you want to search.
  • Click OK to add your defined date range as QBE criteria.

Display studies modified and created on a specific date.

  • Click in the Study Date Time field. The previous options display.
  • With your cursor in the Study Date Time field, type to enter the specific date you want to search on, using the following format: mm/dd/yyyy.

Note:

  • As soon as you begin to enter a date, the options box disappears.
  • The query will commence as soon as you have entered all digits of the specific date.

Results

The Date Time range you defined is now part of the QBE search or QBE Worklist you created.
