Using Free Pan
You can drag and pan an image or series in a viewport. If you have Link Zoom/Pan (LZP) enabled, Synapse does not change the position of any linked images. If you turn off LZP, free pan works the same as pan. See Using Pan.
Steps
- Select the image that you want to pan.
- Right-click the image to display the context menu.
- Select Free Pan. The cursor changes to a hand
.
- Move the mouse in any direction to pan the image while holding down the mouse button.
- Release the mouse button.
Results
Synapse moves the image. If you have LZP enabled, Synapse does not change the position of any linked images.
Additional Options
Use any one of the following options for free pan:
- Click Free Pan
from the icon menu. See Customizing the Icon Menu.
- Configure the following mouse button shortcuts:
- Left button drag
- Middle button drag
- Right button drag
