Configuring Mouse Settings
You can customize the behavior of the left, middle, and right mouse buttons to best suit your needs by configuring the mouse button settings. For example, you can select Drag to Swap for the left mouse button and eliminate using the context menu for that action.

When you customize drag options for the left, middle, or right mouse button for pan options, you cannot use the ALT key for pan delta. |
You can configure the following settings in the Mouse settings tab:

Steps
- Modify the following settings as needed.
- Optional: When you finish configuring all settings, click Close.

Custom Window Level Settings
Custom Window Level (WL) assigns mouse movement direction to the preferred + and - for window width and window center options. When you select a different W/L option, the other applicable options are changed.

Use this option to apply different wheel scroll modes based on the modality of the series.

Wheel Scroll Sensitivity
Personalize wheel scroll sensitivity with the slider bars for the following wheel scroll type:
- Adaptive: More responsive to varied mouse wheel speeds
This setting is only available in Administrator mode.
Results
Synapse automatically saves any updated options and displays the following message in the bottom left corner of the window: Successfully saved.
Synapse displays the following message that you must take the following action to apply the settings: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
Additional Options
You can also change the window level, zoom, and pan using the context menu:
- Select Tools > Apply to All Images in the Viewer context menu to apply window level, zoom, and pan to the series.
- Select Tools > Apply to Selected Images in the Viewer context menu to apply window level, zoom, and pan to the selected image or images.
