Adding a Pseudoaneurysm to a Vessel Diagram
Use the Pseudoaneurysm tool to add a pseudoaneurysm to a vessel diagram for arterial diagrams. You can add up to two pseudoaneurysms to a vessel segment or graft.
- Pseudoaneurysms cannot overlap other pseudoaneurysms.
- You cannot add a pseudoaneurysm to a bifurcated or trifurcated segment.
Steps
- Click the Pseudoaneurysm
tool on the vessel diagram toolbar.
- Click the location of the pseudoaneurysm on a vessel segment or graft.
- Do any of the following:
- Click the endpoint of the pseudoaneurysm.
- Drag to your preferred location, proximally or distally.
- Note: If the pseudoaneurysm endpoint goes past the last vessel segment, Synapse places the pseudoaneurysm at the furthest point within the vessel segment.
- Click the Wall option in the Vessel Wall option in the Pseudoaneurysm properties panel.
- Click a Size option in the Pseudoaneurysm properties panel.
