Saving a Reading Protocol to Other Users

Use the Save to Other Users option to easily copy reading protocols to other users for greater efficiency and a better reading experience.

Note:

  • Users with the Manage Reading Protocols privilege can share reading protocols in the users' own directory, including personal reading protocols and reading protocols shared with a user by another user.
  • Users with the Manage System Reading Protocols privilege can access and share reading protocols from all users. They can also share system reading protocols when in Administrator mode.

User Settings > Reading Protocols 

Steps

  1. Select one or more reading protocols in the RP Directory to save to other users.
  2. Tip:

    Use the CTRL or SHIFT key to select multiple reading protocols.

  3. Right-click the selected files and select Save to Other Users from the context menu. Synapse displays the Select Other User dialog box.
  4. Select one or more other users to whom you want to save the selected reading protocol.

Tip:

Use the Search Users text box to search for users. As you enter characters, Synapse searches for users with matching characters.

  1. Click OK to save the reading protocols.

Results

Synapse saves the reading protocols to the selected users.
