Logging out of Synapse Analytics
Synapse Analytics supports single sign-on authentication from Synapse PACS for log on but not for log out. If you log into Synapse Analytics via Synapse PACS using single sign-on, you must manually log out of Synapse Analytics.
Synapse Analytics does not log you out in any of the following scenarios:
- Closing the Synapse Analytics browser tab.
- Closing Synapse PACS.
- Logging out of Synapse PACS.

Logging the current user out of Synapse PACS and logging in a new user.

You must manually log out of both Synapse Analytics and Synapse PACS. If you do not log out of both, Synapse PACS automatically logs you back into Synapse Analytics through single sign-on. |
Synapse Analytics times out after being idle for a configurable amount of time. See your System Administrator for more information.
Steps
- Click your username to display the context menu and select Log Out in Synapse Analytics.
- Optional: Click File and select Log Out in Synapse Analytics.
- Log out of Synapse PACS.
