Configuring MPR/3D Settings

Select an MPR option to display your preferred 3D projection, such as MinIP, when you open a MPR/3D series.

  1. Modify the following settings as needed.
  2. Optional: When you finish configuring all settings, click Close.

Select one of the following options:

  • MPR
  • MIP
  • MinIP
  • AvIP

Apply Sampling for Large Volume Slab

Setting

Description

Always Apply Sampling for Large Volume Slab

  • Enabling this setting improves performance when displaying large volume slabs, with minor decreases in image quality.

  • This setting is selected by default.

  • Note: Synapse always applies sampling when actively tumbling any size slab, even when this setting is off. If this setting is selected, large volume slabs with sampling have further sampling applied during tumbling.

Results

Synapse automatically saves any updated options and displays the following message in the bottom left corner of the window: Successfully saved.

Synapse displays the following message that you must take the following action to apply the settings: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
