Configuring Extra Series
Synapse treats all duplicate series (except the most recently acquired) as an Extra Series. An Extra Series is defined as a study having more than the expected reading protocols necessary for displaying a study.
You can configure the following settings by modality in the Extra Series settings tab:

Steps
- Modify the following settings as needed.
- Optional: When you finish configuring all settings, click Close
- Repeat these steps to customize the Extra Series alerts for additional modalities.

Results
Synapse automatically saves any updated options and displays the following message in the bottom left corner of the window: Successfully saved.
Synapse displays the following message that you must take the following action to apply the settings: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
