Wall Motion Scoring Diagrams
Synapse uses wall motion scoring diagrams in clinical reports as a graphical depiction of the score in each ventricular segment. Advanced Reporting uses default report definitions for all Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography and Congenital Stress Echocardiography to incorporate the use of wall motion scoring diagrams.
Fujifilm Engineers configure the wall motion scoring diagrams using hotspot controls. See your System Administrator for more information.
When you perform a regional wall motion analysis, you can score the diagrams to capture the level of wall motion in a particular segment of the left ventricle.
Adult TTE, stress echo, and congenital reports use a 16-segment diagram.
Hotspots
Hotspot controls are static, and you cannot resize the controls in the report Workspace. Wall motion scoring diagrams consist of an underlying BMP or JPG image with one or more overlying hotspot regions for data entry.
Note: |
Because Hotspot controls are configurable, factory default report definitions and this example might not match controls configured for your site. |
The Hotspot controls used in factory default echocardiographic report definitions reflect the anatomic views of the left ventricle as obtained in the four routinely performed echocardiographic views. These views include the following:
- Parasternal long-axis
- Parasternal short-axis
- Apical four-chamber
- Apical two-chamber
