Anywhere Series Picker Overview
Use the Anywhere Series Picker to open the floating Series Picker when and where you need it.
- PowerJacket: In addition to displaying thumbnails for a single study in PowerJacket, you can drag and drop any series directly into the Viewer from the Anywhere Series Picker.
- Worklist: In addition to displaying thumbnails for a single study while looking at the Worklist, the Anywhere Series Picker provides a preview of the study without having to open it.
- Viewer:
In some cases, Synapse users want to use as much of the window as
possible to display the images they are viewing.
- The Anywhere Series Picker provides an alternative, if you have chosen to hide the Series Picker in the Viewer, but it can also be used in addition to the Series Picker.
- You can move or resize the Anywhere Series Picker and the Studylist anywhere in the Viewer screen.
Anywhere Series Picker Settings
- If you select the Disable Thumbnail Series Description setting for a modality, the series description does not display in the Series Picker toolbar or the Anywhere Series Picker for that modality. This includes bookmarks and All Images. For ultrasound virtual series, the series description always displays even if you select the Disable Thumbnail Series Description setting for the US modality. See Configuring Series Picker Settings.
-
If you enable the Series Picker split scroll bar setting, the Series Picker and the Anywhere Series Picker are divided into two sections, one for the current study and one for all selected priors.
- The Anywhere Series Picker is divided vertically.
- The Series Picker is divided horizontally or vertically depending on its orientation in the window.
- If you do not select any priors, only one scroll bar displays.
Note:
Synapse does not apply the Series Picker split scroll bar setting immediately upon refreshing the window if Auto Compare is enabled. Close and reopen the Viewer to apply the setting.
