Adding a Filter to a Vessel Diagram
Use the filter tool to draw filters on a vessel diagram.
- You can add a filter to a single point in a segment.
- You cannot add multiple filters in a segment.
- You can reverse the direction of the filter.
Note: |
When you add a Date Removed, Synapse hides the filter in the vessel diagram but the filter remains in the Properties Panel and the diagram data. |
You cannot add a filter to the following locations in the vessel diagram:
- A segment already containing a filter
- An arterial segment
- A graft
- A collateral
- A varicosity
Steps
- Do one of the following:
- Click
Filter
on the vessel diagram toolbar.
- Click the vessel segment that you want to add a filter to.
- Click the vessel segment you want to add a filter to. The Filters Properties Panel displays.
- Click Add Filter

Results
Synapse adds the filter to the diagram and displays filter properties in the Filters control of the properties panel.
